Hi everyone, feel free to put all your questions in the chat box!
Our website is: opencampus.newschool.edu
Are there any cons to taking a Basic Core class? For example, are deadlines for projects accelerated? Is the curriculum an abridged version of the three classes it combines?
Is there a way to get bios or additional information on the instructor teaching the course?
Interested in interior design certificate. can you talk about how much experience in the field is necessary, do I need to have a portfolio, be working in the field etc..
Hi Nancy, for faculty bios please visit this link https://www.newschool.edu/parsons/faculty-profiles/
You’re also welcome to google them! A lot of them have online presence
Hi Rashad, to enroll in the certificate course you don’t need any previous experience. Our foundational courses will provide the basics! All of our courses are open enrollment and you do not need a portfolio to enroll
Is it best to take the clasess exactly as listed (Basic Interior Space planning and Basic Drafting Followed by Color Theory and Drawing Interiors)?
OK, so Basic Interior Space planning and Basic Drafting aren't available in August.... so I need to wait until October...?
Hi Laura! As Arron is saying, we provide a recommended order. We recommend you to start with Basic Interior Space Planning or Basic Drafting, either one is a good starter depending on your preference, and follow it by Color Theory
You can email email@example.com for information about the waitlist and questions about the registration process
For Graphic Design certificates, the graphic design 1 course has two different prices, 814 and 3400. What’s the difference?
